A parody of the hit musical “Chicago!” set in 1929 prohibition, starring 2003 American Idol LA semi-finalist Nichole Cooper and the award winning comic Ted Smith, aka The Baby Boomer on KMHD, Razzle! Dazzle! Die! is enjoyed by Portland audiences every Saturday in downtown Portland.

PROHIBITION GRIPS THE CITY – GANGSTERS RUN IT!
Welcome to the city’s favorite gin joint; one of many Speakeasies dotting downtown’s notorious underground Shanghai corridor. The Shanghai Club…where the gin is cold, the piano’s hot & all run the risk of getting knocked out & loaded onto a slow boat to China.
ACT 2: AFTER COCKTAILS
A scream! You race, or stagger depending on how much
giggle water you’ve had, to find a Shanghai victim.
DEAD!
Civic duty calls! Help the great Detective Eddie May nail the guilty fiend or fiends. He needs help ‘cause he’s not that great.
Recount what happened! Help him interrogate the suspects!
Examine the evidence found! Nail the guilty fiend or fiends!
Don’t worry about ratting them out. We know you became friends over dinner, but really…HELLO??? They might be a… MURDERER!
